About
Welcome to A Casa das Massas Restaurante e Rotisserie, a delightful culinary gem nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Pacaembu, São Paulo. Renowned for its authentic Italian cuisine, this charming eatery specializes in homemade pasta crafted with care, reflecting the heart of Italian tradition right in the bustling streets of Brazil.
Upon entering, diners are greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere, accentuated by the sweet melodies of Italian music that create a perfect dining ambiance. The restaurant's menu offers a meticulously curated selection of just eight dishes, ensuring that each plate embodies the finest quality and flavor. As you sit by the window overlooking the lively neighborhood, you'll immediately sense that A Casa das Massas prides itself on the freshness of its ingredients, complemented by sauces prepared on the same day.
One standout feature, as noted by customers like Chris Ferrara, is the complimentary bread served warm, sourced from a local bakery with a storied history of over a century. It comes with an array of delectable sides, from a delightfully salty tomato and fish spread to a rich eggplant mix that could easily become a meal in itself. The nurturing spirit of Italian dining can be felt with every bite.
The pasta dishes here are genuinely the stars of the show. The Casuncceli a Parmesan, with its bubbling blush sauce, cheese, and fresh basil, leaves diners fully satisfied. Meanwhile, the Fettuccini a marinara and muscle sauce offers a unique twist, allowing for a personalized dining experience that adapts to dietary restrictions without sacrificing flavor. The texture of the house-made pasta is light and silky, a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality. Every bite reveals the skill and passion behind Italian cooking.
A Casa das Massas is not just a restaurant; it's a celebration of Italian culture and the love of food. With friendly service, generous portions, and reasonable prices, it quickly earns the affection of its patrons. As Larissa Grabarski mentions, the staff's attentiveness enhances your dining experience, ensuring that every visit feels special.

“ True Italian restaurant that makes their own pasta. Perfect Trattoria. ”
“ Tip: thoroughly enjoy the couvert and then ask for a "one and a half" serving of pasta. It is really enough for one couple. ”
“ The place is absolutely friendly, and the dishes are very generous, the waiters are extremely helpful, the food is very delicious, the prices are reasonable. It's easy to get to. I absolutely recommend it. - João Dudená ”
“ We had lunch here on a Friday afternoon, the place was not very crowded however that did not impact the quality of service or the food! Tl;dr: it’s amazing and you should try this Italian restaurant nestled in São Paulo’s Santa Sicília neighborhood. Home made pasta complimented by fresh ingredients and sauces made the same day. We were sat near a back window with a view of the neighborhood and we’re serenaded by Italian music as we navigated the menu. The lunch menu is very simple, comprised of 8 curated dishes. We were greeted by a complimentary board of bread with fantastic sides and learned that except for the bread (from a local bakery who had been in business for over 100 years) is made in-house! So exciting! Wine was poured and it was time to eat! The bread: Warm and inviting, accompanied by sides of butter, a tomato/fish spread which was delightfully salty, garlic spread (made with dairy) and an eggplant mix that was to die for - i could seriously just eat the bread and that eggplant spread for a meal :-) Food: My husband ordered Casuncceli a Parmesan- in-house made casserole of pasta, with a blush sauce complimented by Parmesan and basil. It came out still boiling hot and when we say cheesy, we mean cheesy! Wow - he described it as a perfect balance of ingredients. After discussing my dietary restrictions they made me a special Fettuccini a marinara and muscle sauce. The sauce was served separately, allowing me to control the amount I’d like which was an interesting g twist that I appreciated! I tasted the pasta first without sauce - it’s light and silky with a light saltiness - you can tell they make it in-house! The sauce was full of vibrant mussels and calamari, they explained that normally there’s shrimp in it but the fish guy didn’t have any this morning, I love that! The cali Mari and muscles where not rubbery and had a great texture. 10/10 would recommend! ”
